OUR BANNER IS UP THANKS
TO MICHAEL HOKE

Welcome to our site designed to encourage you to jump on board for our project to "Save our Historic Gem" - the landmark Southern Pacific Depot on 11th Street and Green Avenue in Orange, Texas. Our non-profit organization, The Friends of the Orange Depot, is open to all who want to help us with our goals below.

 DONATE NOW!

A dear supporter of Friends of the Orange Depot has left us.  Dan Ryder passed away on Wednesday September 10th in Beaumont.  He will be sorely missed by our organization and the other dedicated volunteers that worked with Dan and his wife Sue.  In lieu of flowers, his wife has asked that memorial donations be made towards the restoration of the historic Southern Pacific Railway depot in Orange.

Donations can be made via this website by clicking above.

Our fundraising goal:  $600,000

  2. To promote community involvement in the process of fundraising to fund the costs of restoration and operations.
  3. To use the restoration of the depot to revitalize downtown Orange by promoting  tourism as the "Gateway to the Historic District."
